The Calamity is an event that tool place approximately 20,000 years ago, around which the [Hemian](Hemia.md) Calendar is based. To Hemians, it was a period of shock and terror, as their gods took out their violent wrath upon them. In actuality, The Calamity was when [[the Nine Realms]] came together, to be linked by the forces of [[The Sanyojaka]], allowing for the creation of [[Waypaths]] between the realms.
