[[Succubi]] can be summoned in three main ways: # Direct Summoning A direct summoning involves the summoner knowing the specific incantations and symbology to summon a specific [[succubi|succubus]]. Details on how to perform a direct summoning can be found in ancient grimoires, or can be derived from the intertwining elements of a [[succubi]]'s womb sigil, the nexus of their magical energies. # General Summoning A general summoning can be performed through a ritual, similar to a direct summoning but more general in nature, that causes a number of [[succubi]] to feel the summoning pull. # Innate Summoning An innate summoning occurs when a sentient, adult creature, most often a [[Humans|human]], experiences emotions, or undertakes a pattern of behaviour, that appeals to a [[succubi]]'s nature. This particular summoning pull is referred to by [[succubi]] as being 'compelled'. Various natures are determined by the colour of a [[succubi]]'s eyes, for example: - Red-eyed [[succubi]] are typically more dominant, and can be compelled by those feeling lost or uncertain. - Blue-eyed [[succubi]] are generally curious and flexible, and can be compelled by those feeling exploratory. - Yellow-eyed [[succubi]] are often the most flirty of the [[succubi]], and can be compelled by those needing a confidence boost. - Black-eyed [[succubi]] can be quite sadistic, and can be compelled by arrogant or self aggrandising behaviour.
